collaborative realtime word processor
some of us may have experienced this: we need to work on the same document simultaneously, with the ability to see each other’s editing in real time (especially when we collaborate with colleagues in different cities or countries). googledocs (http://docs.google) has this capability but the users who share the document have to have google account. are there any other, better, options?
recently, in a collaborative work with a few colleagues, i tried out buzzword (http://buzzword.acrobat.com). it is very similar to googledocs but has much better features and does not need the users to have certain email account (any email account is valid). with buzzword, up to four users can simultaneously edit a document in real-time. and it is free.🙂
